• The prefix goes to the end of the sentence: Jan ruft am Abend an.
• The past with haben: the past participle goes at the very end: Ihr habt am Freitag fotografiert.
• Strong verbs have a past participle in -en, and verbs of movement and bleiben take sein: Lena ist in München geblieben.
• müssen sends the infinitive to the end, and nicht müssen means “don't have to”: Heute müsst ihr nicht anfangen.
• Dates: after am, the ordinal ends in -ten: Mein Geburtstag ist am ersten Juni.
