I can talk about my plans for tomorrow, the weekend, and my vacation, ask “what will you do?”, and say no: “I won't come”, “I won't go”.

Sabah nə edəcəksən?: the future tense -acaq
The future tense in -acaq is for what is decided and planned, and for what you're sure of; English “will” and “going to” both lead here. Time words: sabah, bu axşam, həftə sonu, gələn həftə, gələn ay, gələn il, məzuniyyətdə, bayramda. A fixed schedule can still take the present: Sabah işləyirəm.
The form: the stem + -acaq / -əcək + the endings of Mən tələbəyəm: -am, -san, no ending, -ıq, -sınız, -lar. -acaq or -əcək goes by the last vowel of the stem, as with -lar / -lər: -acaq after a, ı, o, u; -əcək after e, ə, i, ö, ü. Before -am and -ıq, q → ğ and k → y: alacağam, gedəcəyik. Before -san, -sınız, -lar nothing changes: alacaqsan, gedəcəklər.
After a vowel, a linking y: oxuyacaq, işləyəcək. t → d, as in gedirəm: gedəcək, edəcək. “Won't” is -mayacaq / -məyəcək: almayacağam. The question: -mı joined after the personal ending (gələcəksənmi?) or intonation alone. “I'll be” is olacağam.
Turkish -acak (gideceğim) is not Azerbaijani: here it is -acaq with q and the ending -am.
Common mistakes:
• דgedəcəkəm” → gedəcəyəm: k → y before a vowel.
• דgələcəyim” → gələcəyəm: the ending as in tələbəyəm.
• דBiz sabah görüşəcək” → Biz sabah görüşəcəyik: the personal ending is required.
The future tense: -acaq / -əcək + the personal ending
Before -am and -ıq: q → ğ, k → y; after a vowel, the linking y.
