What we review

The module on one page

This is a review of what you can already do. There is nothing new here. Asking: the question word comes first and has an accent mark — qué and cuál, quién and quiénes, cuándo, cuánto by gender and number, dónde and adónde, por qué (answered by porque), cómo. Numbers and years: hundreds agree in gender (doscientas casas), mil has no un, a million takes de, and a year is read whole — mil novecientos setenta, never in pairs as in English. What happened, the u group: tuve, estuve, pude, puse, supe. No form has an accent mark. What happened, the e/j group: quise, vine, dije, traje. In the ellos form, after -j- the i drops: dijeron, trajeron. A life story follows a set order: nació en… → estudió → trabajó de… → se casó con… → publicó → murió en… Module summary: now you can ask about anything, say any number or year, and tell the story of someone's life.
