Неправильные глаголы (irregular verbs)
В Past Simple большинство глаголов получают окончание -ed (work → worked). Но есть группа неправильных глаголов: вторая форма у них особая, её просто запоминают.
Формы этого урока:
• go → went (идти, ехать)
• have → had (иметь)
• see → saw (видеть)
• make → made (делать)
• take → took (брать)
• get → got (получать)
• eat → ate (есть), drink → drank (пить), sell → sold (продавать)
• leave → left (уходить), spend → spent (тратить), begin → began (начинать)
Форма одна для всех лиц: I went, you went, he went, she went, it went, we went, they went.
В отрицании и вопросе появляется did, а сам глагол возвращается к начальной форме.
Утверждение — отрицание — вопрос:
• I went to school. — I didn't go to school. — Did you go to school?
• She saw the film. — She didn't see the film. — Did she see the film?
• They had a party. — They didn't have a party. — Did they have a party?
• We took a taxi. — We didn't take a taxi. — Did we take a taxi?
Так неправильно:
• NOT «I goed» — правильно I went.
• NOT «She taked my pen» — правильно She took my pen.
• NOT «I didn't went» — правильно I didn't go.
• NOT «Did you saw it?» — правильно Did you see it?
