I can say a price, say what I like doing and what I like the taste of, say what I can do and what I'm allowed to do, describe a thing, and ask with welke — in new sentences.
What we review
What we review
In this module you learned to shop, order at a restaurant, and choose clothes. Here is what to review:
• prices: Hoeveel kost …? — in words: vier euro twintig; after a number euro, cent, kilo don't change (no English -s), but containers take the plural: twee flessen;
• graag and how-often words come after the verb, or after the subject when the subject follows the verb; with niet, niet graag: ik zwem graag, ik fiets vaak;
• wil, kan, moet, mag — and the second verb at the end;
• kunnen — “can, be able to”, mogen — “may, be allowed to”;
• graag — for doing things (ik eet graag), lekker vinden — for taste (ik vind … lekker); hij vindt;
• -e before a noun, and no -e: de grote stad, een groot land; welk shirt, welke jas; De jas? Hij past.
All the sentences below are new: remember the rule, not a line from the lesson.
The module is over: now you can shop at the market and in stores, order at a restaurant, talk about hobbies, and choose clothes.
The module's two choices
