The module has six topics. There are no new rules here: just the main points.
• Set phrases: դու and դուք; two kinds of “please”: Խնդրեմ (in reply, and handing something over) and Խնդրում եմ (asking).
• The linking verb is required: “I'm a student” — Ես ուսանող եմ. “Not” — չեմ in the same place.
• A question keeps the word order; the sign ՞ goes over the word you ask about; the answer is Այո or Ոչ plus a full sentence.
• Name and where from: Իմ անունը … է; Ես Ամերիկայից եմ.
• The article: -ը or -ն; the subject and a name take it; before the linking verb, -ն.
• Pointing words: սա — այս + a noun with the article — այստեղ; ի՞նչ for a thing, ո՞վ for a person.
• Writing: inside a word, the sign և (բարև, Երևան, հարևան); the full stop is ։.
Now you can meet people, say who you are and where you're from, and name the people and things around you.
