I can review the module: talk about the past and my plans, say what hurts and what I like, talk about my family, and not mix up tí and tie, dvaja and dve.
What we review
What we review
• The past: som in second position, before sa / si; in the third person there is no verb “to be”.
• The future: budem + infinitive; ísť has pôjdem.
• The singular cases are in the first table: who? · whom? · where? · by what? with whom?
• Men in the plural: tí moji dvaja bratia; all the rest: tie moje dve sestry.
• “I have”, “I'm … years old”, “my … hurts”, “I'm cold”, “I like”: different Slovak phrases (the second table).
• Like and love: rád + verb (rád čítam), mať rád + thing (mám rád kávu), páčiť sa (páči sa mi), ľúbiť for a person.
• Only a mark tells these apart: boli (were) and bolí (hurts), ti (to you) and tí (those), ma (me) and má (has).
The module is over: now you can tell your story and talk about your family, your health, what you like, and your plans.
