say или tell: say something (to somebody), но tell somebody (something). Пример: She said nothing. She told me nothing.
Глагол did работает и как смысловой (I did my homework), и как вспомогательный в вопросах (Did you see it?).
Так неправильно:
• NOT «comed», «buyed», «thinked» — правильно came, bought, thought.
• NOT «He didn't came» — правильно He didn't come.
• NOT «She said me the truth» — правильно She told me the truth.
Произношение: в bought и thought буква gh не читается, звучит долгое /ɔː/.
