Who's who: Boh and Zeniba

Remember Yubaba's son, little Boh, and her sister Zeniba, and don't mix up the twins.

1 / 5

Two new faces

— Boh (Bo-chan) — a giant baby, Yubaba's pampered son. His mother keeps him in a lavish room piled with toys and fusses over him: he is used to getting everything his way. To punish Yubaba, Zeniba turns Boh into a fat little mouse. In this form, traveling with Sen, Boh sees the world for the first time, learns to stand on his own feet, and grows kinder — a small copy of the main theme of growing up. — Zeniba — Yubaba's twin sister. Her face is identical to her sister's, but at heart she is her kind opposite. Don't mix them up: the same face, two different witches. Yubaba rules the bathhouse; Zeniba lives modestly in the fields.
