What we review

What we review in module 1: • sen and siz: Salom! Qalaysan? ↔ Assalomu alaykum! Qalaysiz?; aka and opa after a name, and ustoz: only with siz; • names: Mening ismim …, Ismingiz nima?, Uning ismi …; • who I am and who you are: the personal endings -man, -san, -siz, -miz, -sizlar; no ending in the third person; • questions with the particle -mi, and “not”: emas; Siz-chi? and ham; • where you're from: -lik and the set pair Qayerdansiz? — Men Amerikadanman; • numbers to a hundred and age: … yoshdaman. The most frequent mistake is to forget the personal ending: English “I am a student”, Uzbek Men talabaman. There are no new words in this lesson.

The ending is the same for all words; there is none in the third person.
