What we review

What we review in module 1: • informal and formal “you”: Сәлем ↔ Сәлеметсіз бе; a name + мырза, ханым, аға, апай — only with сіз; • names: Менің атым …, Сіздің атыңыз кім?; • who I am and who you are: the personal endings -мын, -бын, -пын, -сың, -сыз; no ending in the third person; • questions with the particle ма / ба / па and the negative емес; • numbers to 100 and age: … жастамын; • бұл, мынау, анау, мұнда, онда; the plural -лар / -дар / -тар; after a number, the singular. The two endings and the particle have similar rows: after a voiceless consonant -тар, -пын, па. The table puts them side by side; look at it where the rows differ (after л, м, н, ң). There are no new words in this lesson.
