Na úřadě: documents and forms

Na úřadě: documents and forms

Why: to understand where to go and when an office is open, to say what you need, and to fill out a form. Where: na úřadě, like na poště; where to: na úřad, like na poštu. What you need: potřebuju or musím mít + the “what” form: potřebuju …, musím mít … The document words don't change in this form. After nemám the form stays the same too: דNemám víza” → Nemám vízum. Learn these names as a whole; they don't change: povolení k pobytu, datum narození, místo narození, zdravotní pojištění, rodné číslo. Office hours are úřední hodiny; on the sign the days are shortened: Po, Út, St, Čt, Pá. The form: vyplnit is to fill out, podepsat to sign. As with opravit: after musím / můžete use vyplnit, podepsat; in the past vyplnil(a), podepsal(a). The clerk says: Počkejte. Vyplňte formulář. Podepište to. These are requests: you only need to recognize them. Common mistakes: • דBudu vyplnit …” → Musím vyplnit … • דPotřebuju pasu” → Potřebuju pas. • דJsem v úřad” → Jsem na úřadě.
