Lesson 11. Final test: build the shot yourself

1 / 6

How the final test works

Four tasks with no hints in the instructions: two cropping tasks, a distraction hunt, and a vantage point in 3D. The pass mark is higher than in the lessons: 84 out of 100. The review comes after you press the button, as usual — and you can retake it as many times as you like: this test is for you, not for a grade book. And the main test is outside the platform: go outside and take one shot following the rules of the course. The pole, the crop line, the room, the edges — you already see it all.

You've come all the way from “two almost identical shots” to a vantage point found with your feet. Now it's down to practice: one deliberate shot a day teaches faster than a hundred random ones. Before you press the button, take one look around the frame: pole, crop line, room, edges. This course is about composition. Light, phone camera modes, and simple editing are in the companion course “The Camera in Your Pocket: Smartphone Photography” — it's in the catalog, in the same section. Happy shooting.
