質問と否定の作り方
現在形の疑問文と否定文は、do と does を使います。
疑問文(質問):文のはじめに Do か Does を置きます。
- Do you like coffee? = あなたはコーヒーが好きですか?
- Does he work here? = 彼はここで働いていますか?
※ does を使うとき、動詞は -s を付けない形にもどります(works → work)。
答え方:
- Yes, I do. / No, I don't. = はい、好きです。/ いいえ、好きではありません。
- Yes, he does. / No, he doesn't.
否定文(〜しない):動詞の前に don't か doesn't を置きます。
- I don't like tea. = 私はお茶が好きではありません。
- She doesn't eat meat. = 彼女は肉を食べません。
※ doesn't のときも動詞は -s なしの形です(eats → eat)。
覚え方:I / you / we / they → do, don't。he / she / it → does, doesn't。
