I can put together everything about my day: the three groups of endings, reflexive verbs, stem changes, ir/salir/hacer, and prepositions of time.
What we review
My day: module summary
The present tense is about what you usually do: todos los días, los sábados, el fin de semana.
• Three groups of endings: -ar, -er, -ir; -er and -ir differ only in nosotros and vosotros.
• Reflexive verbs: the pronoun me, te, se, nos, os, se goes before the verb, and no goes before the pronoun.
• The stem changes (empiezo, vuelvo, duermo) in all persons except nosotros and vosotros; salir and hacer have their own yo form: salgo, hago; ir — voy, vas, va, vamos, vais, van.
• Time: a las… for a clock time, de … a … and desde … hasta … for a stretch of time, por la mañana / tarde / noche when there is no clock time; no preposition before a day of the week.
